Horsemanship Lessons

Horsemanship lessons are ground-based lessons that, if desired, can advance into ridden work.

These lessons are designed to equip owners with the tools needed to effectively work with their horse as a partner. Lessons are tailored to the individual horse and human pair, addressing the issues or goals relevant to your situation!

Such topics may include colt-starting groundwork, behavioural issues, confidence-building, gaining trust, or problem solving - but the options and opportunities are endless!

Ridden Lessons

Whatever your ridden aspirations may be, M7 is ready to help riders achieve their goals! While maintaining horsemanship principles, ridden lessons may be targeted towards one, or a combination, of the following areas:

- Technical ridden work: fine-tuning maneuvers and increasing the skill set of both horse and rider

- Problem solving: learning how to address reluctance, a lack of confidence or behavioural issues

- Understanding the basics: for new or green riders, these lessons target how to properly ride a horse using fluent control and soft feel while maintaining horsemanship principles in mind to accomplish goals or problem solve.

Pricing

• $40 / lesson with school horse

• $30 / lesson with personal horse

• Private lessons are 45 minutes long, shared lessons are 60 minutes long

• At-home lessons are provided at the same rates, plus an additional mileage rate. Please inquire for details.
