‘Lady’ is a quiet, sound, and safe, well-mannered QH with the kindest personality and experience to boot.

At 15 years old and approximately 14.2HH, this girl is forward and relaxed in all gaits, with a levelheaded walk/trot/lope where you can cruise around on her all day long in a loose rein.

Most of Lady’s life experience includes being used out in the open, on the trail, and as a ranch horse: pasture checks, moving cattle, being used at brandings, getting roped off of, dragging calves, etc.

She has seen cowboy challenge obstacles which she completes with ease, has ponied other horses off of her, and has even been ridden through town and gone through drive-thrus! She has carried flags, drug sleds, crossed bridges and teeter-totters, gone through crazy obstacles and has been trailered to a variety of different places and settings.

She has proven to be a wonderful all-around ride and Lady would continue to make a great horse to continue ranch work, be used in parades / grand entry, as a lesson horse, for a rider looking to do some gymkhana/rodeo/cattle competition or as a family or pleasure horse. She has previously been bred twice and could easily return to the broodmare lifestyle if desired.

I have found her to be exceptionally safe and quiet both in the arena and on the trail — no buck, bolt or spook. While she isn’t an overly technical or complicated ride — making her a great option for a more green rider — her ridden work is all very foundational and correct. She neck reins, direct reins, has a soft face and understands the basis of leg pressure. She knows her vocal cues exceptionally well, has no trouble picking up either lead and gently steps into the trot or the lope.

Lady has one of the coolest personalities every and a fantastic mind on her. She would be suitable for an older child (preferably a confident beginner) as she is calmly forward and responsive. She could be great for an intermediate looking for a step-up horse, or an adult or experienced rider just wanting something solid to enjoy or get the work done on.
