‘LJ’ is a very showy, athletic, push button, and well-built mare. Standing just under 15HH, she has incredible movement beneath her, and the body control to go with. She’s soft in her mouth and is sensitive to your leg, hands, and seat — knowing how to control each part of herself independently, from side passing, leg yielding, turn on haunches/forehand, two tracking, ‘whoa,’ schooling lead changes, etc.

She has experience both in and out of the arena: ponying young horses, reining clinics, moving cattle, hacking out alone, various trail rides, and even riding through town (visiting senior citizen centres and going through drive-throughs)!

And to top it all off, this is the kind of girl that would have been voted ‘best personality’ in high school! She’s kind, sensible, and sweet — a fun-loving, content old-soul who enjoys life. She looks to form a relationship with her person and would excel excel under somebody with a practical set of horsemanship values who takes their mount into consideration.

This girl would be best suited for a confident, quiet-handed rider who knows how to utilize her buttons and will enjoy such a ride! She is happiest in a program being consistently worked — she’s not one to waste away in a pasture. She’s versatile enough that she would make someone an incredible all-around horse: from weekend shows, to overnight trail trips, to playing around in the arena, to pushing cattle. But she’s also athletic and catty enough to specialize in any one of those areas!
