Meet 'Spur,' a 2007 APHA gelding who has done a little bit of everything! From trail riding, to showing, riding both english and western, attending cutting clinics, jumping, etc, he's been around! Or, just take a look at his video -- it speaks for itself!

This boy is soft and supple in both his face and body, and has a great walk/trot/lope. He's happy cruising around on a loose rein, but can pick up contact when needed. He slows down right off of your seat, steps into the lope, and can be ridden both indoors and out. He had a great foundation in all of his manoeuvres throughout his younger years, and he could still have the ability to compete in lower-level shows, be a great pleasure horse, or the perfect all-arounder!

Spur has also had extensive obstacle work done -- flags, bridges, tarps, flags, cattle, buffalo, dragging sleds, opening gates, riding through town -- if you can name it, he's probably seen it!

Because Spur has a soft face and body, he would be best suited for a confident, intermediate+ rider who can appreciate his training. However, he could be great for a young, ambitious rider who wants to grow through the levels or get into more competitive riding. He’s very savvy and smart and will do well with someone who wants to use him to his full extent.
