2010 AQHA Gelding

*SOLD*
‘Sr Kiddin n’ Playing’ is a 9 year old registered QH gelding standing at 15.2HH. He has extensive use in as an all-around ride in both English and western disciplines, and the Bloodlines to back him up.
He was originally started as a youngster with a reining foundation. He is soft, supple, light-handed, and works phenomenally off of your legs. He collects wonderfully off of your legs, and is level-headed and well rounded at all three gaits. For English riding, he picks up contact very well and has been jumped up to 2’ with the scope and willingness to go higher.
He has extensive ranch experience as his previous owners worked at a large cattle operation in southern Alberta. He is great at checking cattle, bringing in pairs, and has been used at brandings. Though I am unsure of any roping experience, I have used him for carrying flags, dragging sleds, etc, and kept him up with his cattle work.
However, Remmy also shines in the arena, too. Turn on haunches/forehand, side pass, leg yield, flying/simple lead changes, crossing obstacles, opening gates off of his back, etc. He has an extremely lovely western pleasure jog, and a pretty, well-rounded lope, but can move out when asked. He works phenomenally off of his hind end, and has never required shoes.
Though he has been used primarily for western disciplines, he has flawless English movement and could easily excel in that ring with a tad more finishing.
In 2018, Remmy also accompanied me to the mountains for my job as a wrangler. He was used extensively in a variety of new environments without complaint. He was used to round up herds of thirty horses on the mountainside, all the while remaining calm as the herd ran about. He was also used on pack trips, being in charge of ponying a pack horse for every ride. Remmy is well versed in being tethered to ropes overnight, hobbled for free grazing, and leading trail rides at all gaits. He crosses natural obstacles, including water, and has never been herdbound. He ground ties, stands for mounting, is an easy keeper, and works without complaint.
This boy also has amazing papers backing him up. He is sired by Millionaire Playboy and Dash for Cash is his great-grandfather. He was bred phenomenally for barrel racing, has been raced at a few jackpots, and could easily be taken that way again—His breeding speaks for himself! His grandmother has 4 world champions and his grandfather has three world champions, an AQHA triple crown winner, an All American Futurity Winner, and over one million in earnings. His half brother is a 4x Canadian barrel futurity finalist, and his other half siblings include Mr Carrington and Ima Special Playgirl.
He is an exceptionally fun ride for someone who wants a fancy broke horse that they can use for anything and everything, or maybe even just for competition, but he is safe and quiet enough that the kids can ride around on him, too.
